Why we chose here: I’ve been to social before, with Amanda, Rhonda and Jenn for Rhonda’s birthday. At that time we were looking for something fancy to sip drinks at and eat food at. Social was the one we wondered into after finding it on Sussex. I LOVED where we sat in the back on the red couches and I loved the decor as well. It was so romantic and I wanted to bring a man-friend to try it out with me. Steve was that lucky one, and almost a year after me and the girls went to social, me and Steve wondered in.
What we ate:
Once again, we ate here back in the beginning of 2007 and it is the summer of 2008 as I write this. Sooo, that means I don’t know how accurate my memory is of eating details from that time ago.
Appetizer Choices: I actually don’t beleive we had an appetizer... Maybe one we shared?
Entrée Choices: I had the duck, and Steve had a ‘wild’ meat tasting platter with elk and other meats done up differently.
Choice of Dessert: Most likely creme brulee and a chocolate dessert.

I loved Socials atmosphere. The food could be terrible and I would still walk out of there with a smile on my face because it is such a hip place to be (depending on where you sit).
I like social, their food is good, but their drinks are better. This is a lovely spot to dress up and go to for some late night martinis.
Drinks: No wine this time for me, which is a shame because I know of a lot of nice reds that would accompany duck very nicely.
No, instead I had a cocktail called ‘Crush on Sarah’. I couldn’t refuse - Absolute Apeach Vodka, Cruzan Coconut Rum, apricot brandy and Welch’s grape juice. Delicious.
Appetizers: I’m guessing that we ordered some grilled shrimp of some kind and split it.
